Annual Faculty Colloquium
The Office of Academic Affairs, through the efforts of the university’s Learning & Teaching Collaborative, hosts a faculty colloquium each January. Topics vary each year, but all faculty and graduate teaching assistants are encouraged to attend.
Learning & Teaching Collaborative
The Learning & Teaching Collaborative (LTC) is a joint effort between the Office of Academic Affairs and the LTC committee that serves as resource for faculty wishing to explore alternative pedagogy in the classroom, including the use of new technologies. Each year, the group hosts a spring faculty colloquium and invites a nationally renowned subject matter expert to provide a key note address followed by a workshop. Last year's event featured Rafael Luna, founder of Luna Scientific Storytelling.
